Healthcare professionals in Vallejo now have a faster, more flexible way to complete American Heart Association® BLS, ACLS, and PALS training. Safety Training Seminars, located at 1006 Marin Street, Suite 107—right in the heart of downtown Vallejo near the corner of Marin Street and Florida Street—offers Self-Guided Learning™ courses that combine self-paced online learning with an independent skills session at a CPR Verification Station™ learning center.
No fixed class times. No waiting for an instructor-led group session. You complete the course on your schedule and receive your American Heart Association Course Completion eCard the same day.
Self-Guided Learning™ is a course-based learning approach from the American Heart Association® that combines two independent components:
This approach differs from traditional instructor-led classroom learning and standard blended learning. There is no instructor present during the skills session. Instead, the CPR Verification Station learning center objectively measures your performance against AHA-defined criteria. You can practice and repeat the required skills activity as often as needed to achieve a passing score.
Upon successful completion of both components, you receive an American Heart Association Course Completion eCard for BLS, ACLS, or PALS — valid for two years and accepted by hospitals, clinics, and healthcare employers nationwide.
The online portion uses True Adaptive™ learning powered by Area9 Lyceum, which continuously assesses your knowledge and confidence level, then adjusts the content path accordingly. Spend more time on gaps, less time on content you already know. The result is a personalized, competency-focused experience.
The HeartCode® Complete PALS course focuses on respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiac arrest in infants and children. It is required for pediatric nurses, NICU staff, pediatric emergency providers, and transport teams. Like ACLS, the online portion takes two to three hours and the skills session runs about 30 minutes.
All three courses use the HeartCode® Complete format. Upon successful completion, learners receive an American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider eCard—issued the same day.
HeartCode® is a trademark of the American Heart Association.
Vallejo’s healthcare workforce serves a broad and busy community. Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, Sutter Solano Medical Center, and Touro University California all draw professionals who need to meet employer certification requirements on tight schedules. Rotating shifts, limited time off, and long commutes through Solano County make full-day classroom courses difficult to fit in.
Self-Guided Learning solves that scheduling problem. A nurse finishing a night shift at Kaiser can complete the online modules at home before sleeping, then stop in at the Vallejo training center during a midweek afternoon to complete the skills session. A paramedic based near Mare Island or commuting from Benicia or American Canyon can book the skills check around their rotation without taking an entire day off.
The training center at 1006 Marin Street is accessible from Interstate 780 and Highway 37, making it convenient for providers traveling from Benicia, Napa, Fairfield, Suisun City, and American Canyon. Daily scheduling, including evening and weekend time slots, means there is always an available appointment.
Getting your AHA Course Completion eCard through Safety Training Seminars follows five straightforward steps:
The eCard is valid for two years, easy to share digitally, and accepted by healthcare employers throughout Solano County and across California.
Safety Training Seminars holds a 4.8-star rating across more than 20,000 Google reviews. The Vallejo training center, located in the Vallejo Professional Building at the corner of Marin Street and Florida Street, offers daily availability and a Low Price Guarantee on all American Heart Association courses.
BLS is priced at $120. ACLS and PALS are each $290. Price matching is available if you find a lower price for an identical AHA course elsewhere.

EXCELLENT Based on 227 reviews Posted on Brianna MerrittTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. GREATPosted on Rochelle Van HeerdenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I did my skills training here and it was very easy- the computer was all set up and ready for me to log in and begin the training. The demo video and practice mode was also very helpful. I passed with ease and it went very quick and easy. One of the computers wouldn’t turn on but thankfully I just used the other computer and no one else was there. Gloves and hand sanitizer were provided. The location does not have a bathroom but I only took about 30 minutes to complete my course.Posted on Darrel WilliamsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The BLS certification exam was located at a convenient location. The facilities was neat and organized. I will definitely be coming back for my recertification.Posted on Romelmae DerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. No assessment on AED. Physical assessment was goodPosted on Mary Cris Jane MenesesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Overall, it was a pleasant experience having the whole room to yourself. Entered around 5 minutes before my scheduled time. Gladly, there were two available stations to do the exercises. I initially chose working at Station A, but when I had to do the two rescuer CPR on adults and children, an error saying my hand placement on the manikin’s chest wasn’t centered. The error kept popping up the whole time. On my second try, the error still kept showing. I have thought of calling for customer service, but I switched to Station B first thinking it would work on my next try. So on my third try of the same activity, everything finally worked out fine until I finished all 6 BLS activities. Exited the area with still 40 minutes to spare.Posted on Angela MooneyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience. I felt a little funny about there being no instructors on site. The e training was excellent though and the hands on program very good. My only concern. Station 1 mannequin was having problems so I used station 2. Station 2 computer froze and could not be resolved so it becomes a bit burdensome for the client.Posted on AnneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The online modules is very comprehensive. I learned a lot. The skills testing is great as well. The location is very convenient and safe. You will be given chances to perfect the training. Thanks so much.
